Hey, I'm Eric and I'm here for you. Okay, so here's the unique situation. I know that I promised I would do an episode a week, and that's still the goal. That's still something I'm really trying to focus on and do here, but I have come to find out podcasts are hard. not necessarily the recording and talking with people. We have a very, good group of people that I have talked with and have great stories to tell, and I'm so excited to showcase those stories to you. I just take a little bit longer editing than I thought. It's all brand new to me, so I want to thank everybody who's. Patiently waiting, saying, these were supposed to come out every week. that means so much that you care and I apologize. thank you very much, and I promise as I get better with the editing and things go a little bit smoother, I will be able to continue this at a weekly pace. That being said, I decided to fill the void in between, episodes coming and. Give you guys little notes to get you through the week, things that can kind of help you. Get through things you may be experiencing or stuff that you may be dealing with whatever the case may be, if things are difficult for you, or if you just need a pep. I hope that these words can help and I think one that I wanna start with is connected to my specific. Conversation with you guys, and that's anxiety and, and I have to say that anybody that listens to that episode or anybody who's similar like me living with anxiety, whether it's, personal, quiet loud out there, all the time or sometimes I hope that these words help you in some way, and I have to start by saying that. You guys may find hard to believe, but you gotta hear it and that's you're not weak. If you're not failing, you are not behind in life. Anxiety is not a flaw It's a sign that your mind is trying to protect you even when it doesn't know how to do so. Right? Anxiety can feel like a storm inside your body. It makes your heart race for no reason. It fills your mind with the worst case scenarios. It's terrifyingly real. It can convince you that something is wrong, even when everything around you is calm when you're in the middle of it, it can feel incredibly lonely, but you're not alone. So many people around you are quietly fighting the same battle. They're smiling in public. But so scared on the inside. They're showing up to work, to school. they're there for your relationship while their minds are saying, you're not safe, you're not capable, you're not enough. And if that's you, I want you to know the fact that you keep going is not ordinary. It's courageous. Anxiety has a way of lying to us. It tells us that this feeling will last forever, that we will always feel this tense, overwhelmed fear. It tells us that relief is something that everyone else can have, but not us. And when those thoughts keep going, those feelings start to be more like facts. But feelings aren't facts. What you're experiencing right now, no matter how intense, no matter how aggressive or scary it is, it's temporary. It may not disappear overnight. It may come and go in waves, but it will not always have the same power over you than it does today. Think about everything you've already survived, every panic attack. Every anxious night, every moment you doubted yourself, you're still here. That alone is proof of your strength. Even if you don't feel strong right now. Healing from anxiety doesn't mean waking up one day without fear. It doesn't mean never worry again, or always feeling calm. Healing means learning, and anxiety does not get to make your decisions. It means realizing that even when fear shows up, you can still move forward. It means trusting yourself enough to know that you can handle discomfort and that it will pass. Progress might look like something small, like taking one deep breath when your chest feels really tight or getting outta bed on a hard day, it might even look like asking for help when it feels uncomfortable. Or resting instead of pushing yourself too far. Every one of those moments matters. None of them are failures. Healing is not a straight line. it's a series of steps pauses and sometimes taking steps back and every bit of it counts. There may be days where you feel tired of fighting. Days when you wonder why this is so hard for you, or wish you could be normal carefree or free of fear on those days, please remember this. You are allowed to be exactly where you are. You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to be positive all the time. You don't need to rush your healing. You only need to keep going. One moment at a time, and here's something that's important, everything will be okay, not because life will suddenly stop being unpredictable. not because fear will never visit you again, but because you are learning how to handle what you once thought was impossible. one day without even thinking about it, you'll feel a change. Your thoughts won't be as wild. Your fear that was overwhelming is now controllable, and the anxiety that once controlled you you'll look back at the version of yourself, the one who kept trying when it was hard, and you'll feel so happy. Not because the journey was easy, but because you didn't give up, you're not broken, you're not stuck, you're not beyond help, you're healing. Even on the days it doesn't feel like it. be gentle with yourself. Speak to yourself the way you would speak to someone you love. Celebrate the small victories. Rest when you need to rest and reach out. When it feels heavy. Trust that this chapter, this difficult, exhausting chapter, it's not the end of your story. Anxiety may be loud, but it's not permanent. Fear may feel convincing, but it's not in control. Hope is still here, even if it's quiet right now. You're growing, you're learning, you're becoming stronger in ways you can't see yet. And no matter how hard today feels, you're going to be okay. Please remember, at the end of the day, there's always somebody who's going to be here for you. Thank you so much for listening to this small, inspirational speech. I hope it could help, even if it just helps one person understand that these words can. bring you back and make you feel whole again. If it could do that for just one person, and this is all that it needs to do, please feel free to reach out if you need anything because I am here for you. Feel free to send me an email at here, HEAR. Four u pod@gmail.com. I'd love to talk to you, get to know you a little better, understand your stories, and if at all possible help you know that tomorrow's gonna be a great day. So thanks for listening, and I look forward to talking to you soon.
