Hey, I'm Eric and I'm here for you. Okay, I get it. I am very, very new to this podcasting thing. I've made a few edits to a few of the tiny talks, my own personal conversation, and I'm still working through the edits for some amazing guest stories that I have going on right now, but I still sound a little choppy, and I'll be honest. Not really sure how to fix that, but I've gotta figure it out and I'm gonna make it sound crisp and clear. Just you wait while I get the editing situated. For our guest talks though, I wanna do another quick little tiny talk with you guys. This one's a little more suited to what I feel a good amount of people in the world are dealing with today. And that's the fact that we live in a world that just moves so quick. You know, deadlines pile up, expectations grow, notifications never stop. And somewhere in the middle of all that noise, many of us wake up already feeling behind, stressed and just compressed even before the day has begun. You know, stress has become so common that we often treat it like a normal part of life. Something we're just supposed to live with. But stress is not a personal failure, and it doesn't mean you're doing life wrong. It means you're human responding to pressure, responsibility, and care. The goal is not to eliminate stress completely. That wouldn't be realistic. The goal is to learn how to move through our days in a way that doesn't let stress control us. The first thing to understand is this. Stress is not always caused by what happens to us. It's often caused by how much we carry alone. When everything feels urgent, when every thought demands attention, our minds never get a chance to rest. So one of the most powerful things you can do each day is to slow down on purpose. It doesn't mean doing less. It means doing things with more intention. Start your day gently if you can. Instead of reaching for your phone like we all do, take a few breaths. Let your body wake up before your worries. Do even just 30 seconds of calm can set the tone for your entire day as your day unfolds. Remember this. You don't have to do everything at once. Stress grows when we look at everything ahead of us and try to carry it all the time. Instead, focus on what's right in front of you. One task, one conversation, one step. Progress is built in moments, not when you're overwhelmed. Another powerful way to manage stress. Is to give your mind permission to pause. We often push ourselves to keep going even when we're exhausted mentally, emotionally, physically, but rest is not a reward you earn after a burnout. Rest is a requirement for, for clarity, for patience and resilience. Throughout your day, check in with yourself. Ask, what do I need right now? Sometimes the answers are break. Sometimes it's water. Sometimes you gotta move. Sometimes it's silence. Listening to yourself is not weakness. It's wisdom. Stress also feeds on unrealistic expectations. Many of us expect ourselves to be productive, positive, focused, and calm at all times. That expectation alone is enough to create stress. You are allowed to have off days. You're allowed to move at a different pace. You are allowed to be a work in progress. Perfection is exhausting. Progress is sustainable. Another simple but powerful tool is how you speak to yourself. When stress hits, our inner voice often becomes harsh. We tell ourselves we're failing, we're falling behind, not doing enough. But imagine how different your day would feel if your inner voice sounded like a supportive best friend. Instead, encouragement reduces stress. Compassion creates space. Speak to yourself kindly. You're listening even when you don't realize it. It's also important to protect your energy. Not every demand deserves your immediate response. Not every problem is yours to solve. Learning to say no or not right now is a form of self-respect. Boundaries don't push people away. They keep you healthy enough to show up fully. Where it matters. Movement can also be a powerful release for stress. You don't need intense workouts or strict routines. Uh, walk, stretching, stepping outside, letting your body move reminds your nervous system that you're safe, that you're not trapped. That stress doesn't have to live in your body forever. And when the day feels heavy, remember this stress is a signal. Not a sentence. It's your body and mind asking for care and balance or change. You don't have to judge it, you don't have to fight it. You can listen and respond gently. At the end of the day, realize what you can't control. You did what you could with what you had, and that is enough. Tomorrow doesn't need you to be perfect. It just needs you to show up. You're allowed to move through life at your pace. You're allowed to breathe, to pause. You're allowed to care for yourself in a world that hardly slows down. Stress may be a part of life, but it doesn't get to define your life. With intention, kindness, and small daily choices, you can create days that feel calmer, steadier, and more manageable. And no matter how full your plate feels today, remember this, you are capable, you are resilient, and you are doing better than you think. Take it one breath, one step, one moment at a time, and remember. If you need someone, I'm here for you. I thought this would be a very important thing to talk about because I'm essentially speaking to myself, right? These are all things that I felt I needed to say aloud to benefit from them, efforts that I need to change in my life to make myself. Feel stronger, better, more capable, and I really truly hope that whoever listens to this takes it in. If you're stressed right now, just take it in, hear it, and know that you're doing great and you don't have to keep putting more on yourself. Take a second for you. Thank you all so much for listening to this tiny talk. I truly hope you guys like these, and if you do, please let me know. Shoot me an email at here for you pod. That's HEAR, the number four Y-O-U-P-O d@gmail.com. If you wanna be a guest on the podcast, you wanna gimme feedback or just wanna tell me your story, I'd love to hear from any and all of you The kindness and support you've shown this podcast truly means the world to me. I've received so many messages from people who simply wanna say they feel helped, heard, or encouraged, and honestly, that's all I ever hoped this podcast could be. My goal has always been to give people a space to share their stories in their own words, to get things off their chest, or even just to have a conversation that reminds them they're not alone. Reading your messages inspires me to keep going. But even more than that, I'm excited to continue hearing the incredible stories from so many amazing people out there. And if those stories reach even one person who needs to know they're not alone, who needs to feel understood, then every bit of this is worth it to me. Okay, last time. Thank you all so much for the support and I can't wait to talk to you soon.
