Lisa Pentangelo shares her deeply personal story of navigating motherhood, mental health challenges, and a life-altering spiritual experience.

After the birth of her son, Lisa began experiencing symptoms of peripartum depression, leaving her feeling detached from herself and the world around her. While maintaining a career and caring for her family, she silently battled feelings she didn't fully understand.

As life pressures mounted, Lisa experienced what she describes as a spiritual awakening that eventually evolved into spiritual psychosis—an intense period marked by profound spiritual experiences, unusual patterns of thinking, and a search for meaning during one of the most difficult times of her life.

Together, we discuss:

  • Life before motherhood
  • Working in finance, cosmetics, and plastic surgery
  • Peripartum depression and postpartum mental health
  • The impact of untreated mental health struggles
  • Spiritual awakening vs. spiritual psychosis
  • Therapy, healing, and recovery
  • How asking for help can change everything
